Pretty Good News Now!!
As everyone knows by now, we have all been waiting for an opportunity to return to the negotiations table for settlements in your Bayview Residents Lawsuit.
We are now pleased to announce that all three of the lawsuit defendants have agreed to work toward a settlement. There is no promise we will arrive at an agreement and then of course we would proceed to trial in 2026.
There is a great chance the settlement negotiations will go well, trial will be averted, and money will be disbursed at some point. There are no words to express the enormous disappointment for all 6500 of you who have done everything asked of you to get this far in the lawsuit and still have nothing to show for it. We now ask for your patience and blessings as we proceed forward in these NEW SETTLEMENT negotiations.
The trial date is still set for 2026. The year 2025 is still being spent preparing discovery, attending depositions, and filing motions for trial, all the while working toward settlements with all three defendants, Tetra Tech, Lennar and Five Point.
Lawsuits are tough and can be grueling-
We thank you for your continued patience with the process as we continue to fight for justice. We will not give up.
